To ensure the smooth conduct of the swearing-in ceremony for all members of the 8^th Legislative Assembly of the Macau Special Administrative Region and the 13^th Conference of Presidents of Supreme Courts of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM) has implemented a series of preventive and enhanced power supply measures to safeguard the safety and stability of power supply during both events. Recently, Bernie Leong, Chairman of CEM Executive Committee led a management and technical team to conduct on-site inspections at the event venues, reviewing the operation of all equipment and the implementation of emergency arrangements. 

Bernie Leong stated that “Ensuring the safety and stability of power supply is CEM's core responsibility. We attach great importance to the power supply for these two significant events and will spare no effort to provide high-quality and reliable power support through meticulous planning and the collective efforts of our professional team, thereby contributing to the smooth and successful conduct of Macau's major events.”

A series of major events are taking place consecutively besides the forementioned two, including the 15^th National Games (Macau Competition Zone), and celebrations marking the 26th anniversary of Macau's return to the Motherland. These events have attracted representatives from multiple regions. CEM has comprehensively enhanced power supply safeguards for the event venues. These includes optimizing power supply equipment and customer substations, as well as deploying mobile battery energy storage vehicles at venues to provide mobile uninterruptible power supplies. CEM's professional team will be on duty throughout the events, maintaining close communication with relevant departments, and conduct real-time monitoring of power equipment operations to ensure prompt response to any unforeseen circumstances.
