On 22 April 2025, Bernie Leong, Chairman of CEM Executive Committee, led the CEM management team and new employees totaling 48 participants to visit the 8^th National Security Education Exhibition. The exhibition was jointly organized by the Macau SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR. The exhibition, themed “National Security Education for All, Deepening and Consolidating for 10 Years,” comprised a preface and six thematic sections. It comprehensively showcased the significant achievements in safeguarding national security over the past year, as well as the historic accomplishments of the past decade under the guidance of the overall national security concept.

National security is the foundation of a nation’s development and the fundamental safeguard of people’s well-being. This exhibition not only emphasized the importance of the overall national security concept, but also comprehensively introduced the remarkable advancements in the modern national security efforts, particularly in the areas of cybersecurity, ecological security, and public health security, providing CEM employees with in-depth understanding and inspiration.

As an important enterprise supporting the livelihood in Macau, CEM has always maintained a high level of national security awareness and implemented national security principles comprehensively and accurately. At the same time, CEM actively enhances its capabilities in areas such as cybersecurity and smart grid development, making its due contributions to safeguarding national security. CEM will continue to uphold the core values of patriotism and love for Macau, fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and support the moderate diversification of Macau’s economy. By promoting the sustainable development of the electricity industry, CEM aims to contribute to the successful practice of the “One Country, Two Systems” policy and remain steadfast in safeguarding national sovereignty, security, and development interests.
