In order to better understand the development history of Nam Kwong and its contribution to the great practice of the "One Country, Two Systems", Bernie Leong, Chairman of the Executive Committee of CEM, led a group which included all Executive Committee members and the management team to visit the Nam Kwong History and Culture Museum recently. The group was warmly received by Fu Jianguo, Chairman of Board of Nam Kwong Group Company Limited.

Completed in 2019, Nam Kwong History and Culture Museum displays plenty of informative images and precious commemorative items in the exhibition hall. Through the visit, the group was able to learn about the hard work and glorious development of Nam Kwong over the past 70 years and more, as well as the unremitting efforts and contributions of Nam Kwong to Macau’s return to China and the development of economic and trade relations between the Mainland and Macau.

At the same time, the group learned from the video clips that Nam Kwong has fulfilled its missions and forged ahead at important historical moments, playing an important role in protecting the people's livelihood in Macau. Additionally, the group also visited the photo exhibition of "A Century of Journey, Prosperity, Glorious Macau, Walking Together with Nam Kwong" dedicated to the Centenary Celebration of the Founding of China’s Communist Party.

Looking forward to the future, CEM will walk side by side with Nam Kwong, inherit the spirit of patriotism and love for Macau, actively participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and regional cooperation, promote the development of moderate economic diversification in Macau, assist in the construction of Macau's “One Center, One Platform and One Base”, continue to provide Macau with high-quality and reliable power services, as well as contribute to Macau's smart city construction and sustainable economic development. Attendees of the event also included Shi Yulin, Executive Director of the Executive Committee of CEM, Benjamin Yue, Principal Advisor to the Executive Committee of CEM and management personnel.
