To safeguard the public and participating students’ health and adhere to the Government’s advice not to hold public events involving large number of participants, CEM announced that the Energy Fun Fair scheduled on 17 January 2021 at Tap Sek Square has been cancelled.

Despite the current stable pandemic control in Macau, the increased number of tourists and returned citizens during the holidays and the emergence of coronavirus variant outside of Macau have resulted in continuous tight health restrictions, CEM decided to cancel the event this year.

CEM will continue to hold various educational activities and promote eco-friendly usage of electricity in future, encouraging the youth to play an active role in energy conservation and environmental protection.
