CEM Ambassadors Team celebrates Christmas with teenagers from underprivileged families

21 December 2017, Macau

With Christmas coming up, CEM Ambassadors have joint hands with volunteers of Macau Federation of Trade Unions, General Residents Association of Macau, Women’s General Association of Macau and Aliança de Povo de Instituição de Macau to organize a joyful gathering on 21st December, in a bid to offer care and love for teenagers from underprivileged families on festive days.

On that day, CEM Ambassadors and the volunteers rode on CEM’s electric bus with 17 teenagers between 10 to 12 years old and arrived at Coloane Power Station. They first visited the exhibition room, so that the teens could learn about the power generation process and smart home applications. Then, local artist Lichee Lei was invited to conduct a paper quilling workshop and create quilled Power Boy magnets with the teens. Meanwhile CEM Ambassador dressed in Santa Claus costume handed out book coupons and gift packs to every teen, wishing them progress in studies in this warm and harmonious atmosphere.

Besides CEM Ambassadors, Iun Iok Meng, Advisor to CEM Executive Committee, Jaclyn Iun, Manager of CEM Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Communications Office and Leong Meng Ian, member of CEM Customer Liaison Committee also participated in the event.

CEM Ambassadors have always been dedicating themselves to charitable and community activities, as well as caring for those in need. This is done with full support and recognition of CEM management. The CEM Ambassadors stated that the activity was very meaningful, as everyone could experience the festive joy of Christmas, making this winter a little warmer.
