CEM joins hands with ICBC Macau to launch real-time electronic bill payment service

To provide diversified bill payment channels and methods, CEM has partnered with ICBC Macau to launch real-time electronic payment service for electricity bills. Customers may settle their electricity bills through ICBC Macau’s online banking service or mobile banking app. If customers’ power supply was suspended due to payment overdue, power restoration will be arranged immediately upon their payment.

CEM has teamed up with many banks to offer customers diversified bill payment channels, including autopay, online banking, telephone banking, and so forth. ICBC Macau is the first bank to cooperate with CEM in providing real-time bill payment services (including payment of overdue bill). Customers no longer need to visit CEM’s customer service center in person, and can conveniently settle bills on a real-time basis via ICBC Macau’s online banking service and mobile banking app.

ICBC Macau offers cash rebate promotion in a bid to encourage customers to settle electricity bills through ICBC Macau. From now on till 31 December, customers can get cash rebates worth MOP 50 upon applying for the electricity bill autopay service through online banking or at the bank’s branches.
