CEM held the “Energy Saving and Safety” Seminar on 18 October 2011, from 20:00 to 21:00 at North District Service Centre of General Workers Association of Macao, in a bid to help customers understand more about management, maintenance and repair of public electrical installations, power supply applications and more. CEM hopes to help customers use electricity more economically and safely through the seminar.
When delivering the welcoming speech, CEM Customer Services Department Senior Manager Keegan Cheang indicated that the seminar aims to raise citizens’ awareness of energy saving and knowledge of safe use of electricity, as well as to enhance communication between the company and the customers.
CEM Customer Services Department Metering Services Engineer Dave Leung explained the “Maintenance/Repair of Public Electrical Installations and Energy Saving Method” during the seminar, and offered guidelines on energy saving and safe use of electricity. CEM Customer Services Department Customer Contact Management Officer Deolinda Ma introduced the “Customer Services”, including CEM’s various customer services, tariffs and ways to communicate with CEM, to all the attendees. CEM representatives also answered attendees’ questions and listened to different opinions in the Q&A session.
IP Guests attending the seminar included North District Service Center of General Workers Association of Macao Director Choi Kam Fu, General Residents Association of Macao Management Resources Centre Director Chan Po Sam, Kong Fook On Gardens Management Committee President Chow Lai Chen, CEM Executive Committee Consultant Iun Iok Meng, and CEM Communications and Public Affairs Department Senior Manager Cecilia Nip. During the seminar, representatives from General Workers Association of Macao and General Residents Association of Macao expressed their gratitude to CEM for providing a good opportunity to allow Macao citizens to better understand CEM’s services.
