To encourage citizens of using induction cooking and promote the concept of healthy eating culture, Companhia de Electricidade de Macau - CEM, S.A. (CEM) again presents “Induction Cooker Lucky Draw” in Macau Food Festival this year. Lucky draw tickets are attached to the cash coupon of Macau Food Festival. Participants simply answer questions on the tickets correctly and put into the lucky draw box for a chance to win a single-zone induction cooker, total 10 induction cookers are given away by CEM.
Induction cookers heat cookware directly with electromagnetic induction heating. During the cooking process, there is no combustion, less smoke and tar, making kitchen temperature lower. Compared with traditional stoves, heat efficiency of induction cooker is up to 85%, cooking time is 1/3 faster and kitchen temperature is 4-5 degree lower. Induction cooking is not only fast and make people healthier, but also can reduce fuel expenditure for a household, thus it is ideal for citizens’ daily cooking. CEM hopes to bring induction cooking concept to local citizens to improve their quality of living and raise their concern for healthy diet.
The Lucky Draw received overwhelming response. The drawing ceremony was held earlier in the Festival venue, presided by Chou Iok Leong and Elizabeth Chung, Executive Directors, as well as Lo Kam Kuan and Chow Yu Tang, Vice-Presidents of the United Association of Food and Beverage Merchants of Macau; Jaclyn Iun, Manager of CEM Communications and Public Affairs Office. Each of the winners can receive one single-zone induction cooker respectively.
The ten lucky winners are: Tam Lai Ngo, Chang Wai Kit, Sio Son Chao, Lei Sio In, Cheong Lai Fan, Tjie Vil Son, Kuong Sut Ian, Ho Sou I, Che Ka Hou, and San Wai Fong. Winners were notified individually by CEM.
