Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Rua de Luís Gonzaga Gomes and Rua de Xiamen Due to Cable Laying Work
12 June 2026
Due to the cable and water pipe installation, road maintenance, road surface reorganization, and manhole repair works at Rua de Luís Gonzaga Gomes and Rua de Xiamen, a coordinated effort has been arranged among CEM, Macao Water, Macau City Gas, the Public Works Bureau, and the Transport Bureau. To accommodate the works, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented from 15 June to 5 July on Rua de Luís Gonzaga Gomes and Rua de Xiamen. The “Rua de Xiamen / U.P.M.” bus stop will be temporarily suspended from 10:00 a.m. on 16 June to 25 June. Passengers can use the temporary stop located approximately 20 meters from the original stop, in the direction of Comendador Ho Yin Park. Details can be found in Attached Tables 1 and 2, as well as on the websites of the two bus companies.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable Laying Works near Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo
8 June 2026
Due to the laying of cables, water pipes, pipelines, as well as road surface repairs, sewage system improvement, and street drains connection work near Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo, after coordination, the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Public Works Bureau, and private companies will combine and carry out successive construction works. To accommodate the projects, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo and surrounding roads from 9 June to 10 July. Among them, Rua da Tercena will have phased traffic closures. For details, please refer to the attached table.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable Laying Works near Rua do Patane
5 June 2026
In response to cable, water pipe and pipelines laying, as well as road surface maintenance on Rua do Patane, a coordinated joint construction project will be carried out by CEM, Macao Water, CTM and DSOP. To facilitate the work, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on the affected roads from June 8 to June 28, during which certain sections of Rua de Patane will be closed to traffic. Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable Laying Works near Rua do Coronel Ferreira

As CEM continues the cable laying works in the area of Rua Nova do Comércio and Rua do Coronel Ferreira, along with adjustments to metal frames for motorcycle parking spaces by the Transport Bureau, the section of Rua do Coronel Ferreira between Rua do Visconde Paço de Arcos and Rua do Guimarães will implement temporary road closures, and temporary traffic measures will also be implemented in nearby roads from 27 May to 15 June. Detailed in the table below.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable Laying Works Around Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo
22 May 2026
In response to cable, water pipe and pipelines laying, as well as road surface maintenance, sewer connection and bollard installation, a coordinated joint construction project will be carried out by CEM, Macao Water, CTM, Transport Bureau, Municipal Affairs Bureau and private construction companies from 26 May to 8 June at Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo, Rua da Tercena and nearby roads. Temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in phases.
During the aforementioned period, the section of Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo between Rua das Estalagens and Travessa do Armazém Velho, as well as a section of Rua da Tercena, will be closed to traffic. Vehicles may access nearby area via Travessa do Armazém Velho or Rua de Cinco de Outubro. Additionally, parking in the loading and unloading zones on Rua de Nossa Senhora do Amparo and Rua da Tercena will be prohibited. Information regarding temporary traffic arrangements for subsequent phases will be announced in due course as work progresses. Please pay attention to the arrangement.
Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable, Pipeline Installation, and Street Drainage Connection Works Around Rua de Chaves in Taipa
20 May 2026
To coordinate with the second phase of works around Rua de Chaves in Taipa, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Rua de Chaves, Rua de Bragança, Avenida de Kwong Tung, and Rua de Chiu Chau from 22 May to 30 June. Following coordination, CEM, Macao Water, CTM, Mtel Telecom, Macau Cable Television, Macau City Gas, and private companies will combine the installation of cables, water pipes, pipelines, fiber optics, and street drainage connections into a single operation. This aims to shorten the construction period and avoid repeated excavations. Please refer to the attached table for details.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable Laying Works on Rua Nova do Comércio and Rua de Miguel Aires

In response to CEM’s cable laying works, and after coordination with the Transport Bureau on adjustments to the metal frame of motorcycle parking spaces, Rua Nova do Comércio and Rua de Miguel Aires will implement temporary traffic arrangements from 12 to 26 May. Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Urgent Cable Repairs on Calçada do Gamboa
30 April 2026
In response to CEM’s urgent cable repairs, the section of Calçada do Gamboa between Calçada do Tronco Velho and Rua da Alfândega will be converted into a dead-end road from 6 to 19 May. Vehicles heading from Calçada do Gamboa toward Rua da Alfândega may detour via Largo de Santo Agostinho, then travel through Rua Central, Rua da Imprensa Nacional, Rua da Prata and Rua do Seminário to Rua da Alfândega.
Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable and Water Pipe Laying Works, as well as Sewer Connection Works at Estrada do Campo

In response to the cable and water pipe laying works, sewer connection works, adjustment of motorcycle parking racks, as well as the installation of road markings and signage at Estrada do Campo and Rua de João de Araújo, a coordinated joint construction project will be carried out by CEM, Macao Water, the Public Works Bureau and the Transport Bureau to shorten the overall construction period. Temporary traffic arrangements due to equipment maintenance
30 March 2026
Due to equipment maintenance to be carried out by CEM, the public car park vacancy display board located at the junction of Avenida de Kwong Tung and Rua de Nam Keng in Taipa will be suspended from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on 7 April (Tuesday), which will resume operation im-mediately after the maintenance work is completed. Please pay attention to the arrangement.
Temporary traffic arrangements for projects in the area of Rua de Chaves, Taipa
20 March 2026
Following coordination, CEM, Macao Water, CTM, MTel, Macau Cable TV, the Transport Bureau, and private companies will jointly carry out cable, water pipe, conduit laying, and drainage connection works in the area of Rua de Chaves in Taipa, in order to shorten the construction period. To facilitate the projects, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on Rua de Chaves, Rua de Braga, and Rua de Chiu Chau from 23 March to 30 April. Temporary traffic arrangements due to Pipeline laying works in the area of Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro
13 March 2026
To coincide with the completion of a new building, power cable, water pipe, and duct laying works, as well as street drain connection works, will be carried out jointly by CEM, Macao Water, CTM, and private companies through cross-departmental coordination to shorten the construction period.
To facilitate the related works, from 16 March to 12 April, a section of Travessa da Cordoaria between Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro and Rua da Madeira will be closed to traffic (except for vehicles accessing the car park); from 16 March to 24 April, between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily, the section of Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro near Beco de Almeida Ribeiro will implement limited traffic.
Temporary traffic arrangements due to equipment maintenance
5 March 2026
Due to equipment maintenance to be carried out by CEM, the traffic lights at the intersection of Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and Alameda Dr. Carlos D’Assumpção will be suspended from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on 9 March (Monday). The traffic lights will resume operation immediately after the maintenance work is completed. Please pay attention to the arrangement.
Temporary traffic arrangements for the transportation, loading and unloading equipment works on Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Sai Van
4 March 2026
Due to the transportation, loading and unloading equipment works by CEM, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on certain sections of Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Sai Van on 7 March and from 10 to 13 March. Please refer to the attached table for details.
