In response to the cable laying, road repair and street drainage connection works conducted by CEM, IAM, and private firms, temporary traffic management measures will be implemented on Rua de S. João, Rua das Virtudes and Rua das Gaivotas in Taipa from 19 December (Friday) 2025 to 5 February (Thursday) 2026. This decision follows interdepartmental collaboration among the relevant departments of the SAR government and coordination with the concession companies, aimed at facilitating the combined construction efforts and minimizing repeated excavation. Temporary traffic arrangements on Rua Marginal do Canal das Hortas, Rua da Fábrica and Rua dos Currais

In response to the cable, water pipe and pipeline laying, as well as road repair and garbage compactor installation works conducted by CEM, Macao Water, CTM and IAM, temporary traffic management measures will be implemented on Rua Marginal do Canal das Hortas, Rua da Fábrica and Rua dos Currais from 9 December (Tuesday) 2025 to 3 February (Tuesday) 2026. This decision follows interdepartmental collaboration among the relevant departments of the SAR government and coordination with the concession companies, aimed at facilitating the combined construction efforts and minimizing repeated excavation. Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Replacement and Maintenance of Lighting Systems on Avenida de Horta e Costa and Alameda Dr. Carlos D'Assumpção Flyover

5 December 2025

In response to CEM's replacement of the public lighting system on the Avenida de Horta e Costa flyover, the flyover will be closed to traffic in two phases, as detailed below.

• From December 8 to 11, the Avenida de Horta e Costa flyover (heading towards Avenida de Horta e Costa) will be closed to traffic daily from 2:30am to 5:30am, with assistance from the police.
• From December 12 to 14, the Avenida de Horta e Costa flyover (heading towards Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues) will be closed to traffic during daily from 2:30am to 5:30am, with police assistance. The N2 bus route (heading towards Taipa Ferry Terminal) will be rerouted, but the stop locations along the route will remain unchanged.

Additionally, CEM will also conduct public lighting system maintenance work on Alameda Dr. Carlos D'Assumpção flyover. From December 9 to 10, the Alameda Dr. Carlos D'Assumpção flyover (in the direction from Edf. Chong Fu to Edf. CNAC) will be closed to traffic daily from   1:30am to 5:00am, with assistance from the police.
 

Temporary traffic arrangements for the construction works on Rua do Volong and Calçada do Poço

In response to the cable, pipeline, and water pipe laying, as well as street drainage connection works conducted by CEM, CTM, Macao Water, and DSOP, alongside the reserved pipeline work for a future development project, temporary traffic management measures will be implemented on Rua do Volong and Calçada do Poço from 1 December (Monday) to 19 December (Friday). This decision follows interdepartmental collaboration among the relevant departments of the SAR government and coordination with the concession companies, aimed at facilitating the combined construction efforts and minimizing repeated excavation. Temporary traffic arrangements for the construction works on Rua do Teatro and Rua de Cinco de Outubro

In response to the cable, water pipe, and pipeline laying and street drainage connection works carried out by CEM, Macao Water, CTM, Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association and engi-neering companies, temporary traffic managements will be implemented on Rua do Teatro and Rua de Cinco de Outubro from 19 November (Wednesday) to 13 December (Saturday). Temporary traffic arrangements for Rua do Volong area

13 November 2025

In response to the installation of cables, pipeline laying, maintenance of the sewer system, adjustments to the metal racks for motorcycle parking, and the establishment of road markings and signage by CEM, MTel, the Municipal Affairs Bureau, and the Transportation Bureau on Rua do Volong, temporary traffic managements will be implemented in the area from 17 November (Monday) to 16 December (Tuesday) after inter-departmental collaboration among relevant Macau SAR government departments and communication with various concession entities. The construction will be combined to avoid repeated excavations (details can be found in the attached schedule).

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Maintenance of Lighting Systems on the viaduct of Estrada de S. Francisco and Alameda Dr. Carlos D'Assumpção

22 October 2025

Due to CEM’s maintenance of lighting systems, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented on the viaduct of Estrada de S. Francisco and Alameda Dr. Carlos D'Assumpção, during the nighttime hours to early morning hours starting October 23 and November 3 respectively. Details are available in Appendix 1. To accommodate the works, some bus routes will be rerouted or have their stops adjusted. Details can be found in Appendix 2 or by visiting the websites of the two bus companies (TCM: http://www.tcm.com.mo, Transmac: https://www.transmac.com.mo).
