Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Equipment Loading/Unloading and Transport, and Lamp Post Renovation Work
22 January 2026
In response to CEM’s equipment loading/unloading and transport, as well as lamp post renovation work, the section of Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Sai Van near Sai Van Lake and part of the flyover on Rua de Malaca will be closed to traffic during the early hours of 24 January (Saturday). Additionally, part of Avenida Panorâmica do Lago Sai Van will have limited traffic from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM every day on 23, 26, 28, and 29 January. Details can be found in the attached table.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Power Distribution Network Maintenance and Improvement Works

Due to CEM’s power distribution network maintenance and improvement works, multiple traffic lights may temporarily suspend operation during the periods from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on 23 January (Friday) and 28 January (Wednesday) due to project needs. The public is advised to take note.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Power Distribution Network and Road Surface Maintenance near Border Gate Square
20 January 2026
In response to CEM and the Municipal Affairs Bureau respectively carrying out maintenance of the lighting system and road resurfacing, temporary traffic control will be implemented in the area of Border Gate Square underground carriageway and Avenida do Comendador Ho Yin from 10:00 PM on 31 January (Saturday) to 2:00 AM the following day (Sunday). The public is advised to take note.

Temporary Traffic Arrangements for Cable Laying Works in the Area Around Largo de Centro de Ciência
2 January 2026
In response to CEM, CTM, and private companies carrying out cable and pipeline laying works, as well as the installation of urban information kiosks, after communication and coordination, temporary traffic arrangements will be implemented in the area around Largo de Centro de Ciência from 6 to 30 January, to facilitate the combined construction by various units and reduce repeated excavation. Temporary traffic arrangements on the areas of Rua de S. João, Rua das Virtudes and Rua das Gaivotas
15 December 2025
In response to the cable laying, road repair and street drainage connection works conducted by CEM, IAM, and private firms, temporary traffic management measures will be implemented on Rua de S. João, Rua das Virtudes and Rua das Gaivotas in Taipa from 19 December (Friday) 2025 to 5 February (Thursday) 2026. This decision follows interdepartmental collaboration among the relevant departments of the SAR government and coordination with the concession companies, aimed at facilitating the combined construction efforts and minimizing repeated excavation.
