• Encourage the hotel industry to save energy;
• Recognize and reward the hotel industry for their efforts in improving energy efficiency and conservation;
• Improve public’s knowledge on energy efficiency & conservation and promote adoption of best energy saving measures. 

1. Hotel Group A* (subscribed demand ≦ 1,600 kVA)
2. Hotel/Resort Group B* (subscribed demand > 1,600 kVA)
   * Each hotel/resort complex with more than one power supply point or contract will be automatically grouped as one participating unit.

• Gold, Silver, Bronze and Excellence awards will be presented with trophies to each category;
• “Energy Saving Concept” Award - Participating hotels/resorts are required to submit a PPT report on energy saving equipment installation, measures and management information with text and photo introduction by 30 September 2026 and arrange on-site inspection for the judging panel to evaluate the report in November 2026. Winner will receive a trophy;
• “Continuous Energy Saving Award” - Hotels/resorts which participate in this year’s Contest with electricity consumption reduction in the billing months of July to October in 2024, 2025 and 2026 will receive certificates;
• All winners will be invited to attend the Award Ceremony.

• The organizer reserves the rights to revise or add supplementary clauses to the rules and guidelines without further notice;
• In case of any discrepancies among the Chinese, Portuguese, and English versions of these guidelines, the Chinese version shall prevail;
• The decision of organizers and the judging panel is final.

1. All hotels/resorts in Macau are welcome to enroll in the Contest through the organizers or co-organizer; 
2. Log on CEM Website www.cem-macau.com to download the enrolment form;
