Macao Illustrators Association

Objectives:

To use vehicles as mobile promotional platforms, through creative vehicle body sticker designs, showcase CEM’s development achievements, and promote electrical safety knowledge.

Student Group

Macao residents under the age of 18, registered through schools; 1–3 participants per team (optional).

Open Group

Macao residents aged 18 or above, holding a Macao Residential Identity Card, participating individually.

Centered on the core themes of “CEM’s Development in Macao” and “Electrical Safety”, presenting CEM’s professional corporate image.

Maximum 2 entries per participant/group.

Format Specifications:

• Participants must use the vehicle template provided by the organizer.
• Hand drawn: Print template in A3, create with any materials; scan the finished work at 300dpi (min.) – 600dpi (max.) in PDF/TIF/JPG format.
• Digital creation: Submit original file in PDF/AI/PSD at 300dpi (min.) – 600dpi (max.) in CMYK mode.
• AI-generated content is strictly prohibited.

Originality:

• Entries must be original, unpublished, and not awarded in other contests.
• Portrait rights, copyrights, or other legal rights must not be infringed.

File Naming:

EntryNumber_ParticipantName_Title (e.g.,1_ChanTaiMan_CEMMacao.pdf)

Submission Method:

• Upload entries to cloud storage (Google Drive/OneDrive recommended).
• Send email to: racc@cem-Macao.com
• Subject: CEM Van Sticker Design Competition_Name
• Email body must include:
  1. Cloud link & password (if applicable)
  2. Participant name & contact number
  3. Entry description (max. 50 Chinese characters / 100 English words per entry)

Judging Criteria:

A judging panel formed by representatives of the organizer and co-organizer will evaluate entries based on:

• Creativity & Artistic Expression (40%)
• Theme Relevance (30%)
• Technicality & Composition (30%)

Result Announcement & Award Presentation:

The winners list will be announced on CEM’s Facebook page on 1 July 2026. Winners will be notified personally.

Terms of Use and Notices for Submissions:

1. Participants agree and grant the organizer, CEM, perpetual, non-compensated rights to use the submitted works for promotional, exhibition, publication, digital platform posting and other commercial purposes without further notification to or compensation for the author.
2. CEM may edit entries (e.g., cropping, colour adjustments) as needed.
3. If a submitted work violates originality, portrait rights, or other legal provisions, the participant shall bear full responsibility. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant and revoke any awards granted.
4. Winners must provide the organizer with original Adobe Illustrator files upon request.
5. Each winner may receive only one award.
6. The collection of personal data of participants is solely for the purpose of this event and any related follow-up, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Law no. 8/2005 “Personal Data Protection Law”.
7. CEM employees and their families are ineligible to ensure fairness.
8. CEM reserves final discretion over all disputes.
9. Non-compliant entries will not be judged.
