Objective:

Professional instructor will teach participants how to make Taiwanese local snacks,“Taichung Bubble Tea” and “Taiwanese rice dumplings” using electrical appliances. Participants can get to experience the fun of electric cooking and take the snacks home to share with their family and friends.

Interested parties must be a fan of CEM’s Facebook page, tag 5 friends in the Facebook post and fill out the online registration form during registration period (19 - 25 November 11:00am). Enrollment priority will be first given to those who have never participated in CEM’s "Electric Baking Class" or “Electric Cooking Class”. If the number of registrations exceeds the quota of the cooking class, applicants will be drawn by a random computer process.

Admission Announcement:

The admission list will be posted on CEM’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/CEMMacao) in the afternoon of 25 November. Admitted participants will receive a confirmation phone call and e-mail.

Terms and conditions:

1. Language: Cantonese;
2. CEM staff are not entitled to enroll;
3. Prior to registration, all participants are required to read and agree to the rules and guidelines, and herewith adhere to the rules of the cooking class;
4. Successful applicants must pay a deposit of MOP200 via bank transfer within the deadline and reply to the notification email, otherwise their admission will be cancelled and no refund will be given; 
5. The deposit will be fully refunded in cash on the day upon completion of the class;
6. Registration is limited to one cooking class per person. Participants cannot change to another class, request cancellation or transfer quota after enrollment confirmation. Deposit will not be refunded if the participant is absent from the class;
7. Participants should arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the class commences and provide Identity Card for verification. Only verified participants are allowed to attend the class;
8. The collection of personal data of participants is solely for the purpose of this class and any related follow-up, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Law no. 8/2005 “Personal Data Protection Law”;
9. The cooking class will be cancelled under the condition of Typhoon Signal no. 8 or above. The activity will be rescheduled with dates notified in due course;
10. All participants take part at their own risk and responsibility. CEM shall not be held responsible for any injury during the class;
11. Participants should agree that photos or videos will be taken by CEM during the cooking class for promotional usage in the future;
12. CEM has the right to make necessary amendments and additional interpretation without further notice.
