CEM has established as its ultimate goal “to be seen as a role model in ASIA” and has publicly embraced professionalism, respect for people and respect for the community as its corporate values. With such goal and values, Environment, Quality, Health and Safety are issues that cannot be neglected. Moreover, these are areas to which general public, government and staffs are increasingly sensitive. Therefore, CEM has decided to put resources on these areas in order to create an internal organization to manage all related issues and to implement an Integrated Management System. The objective is to be certified by international standard by 2005
