What is Traiff Group A

Tariff Group A1 is available for customers supplied by low-voltage network (230/400 V):

• With a subscribed demand up to 69 kVA; or
• With a subscribed demand higher than 69 kVA if they are not included in tarriff groups B and C.

Charges

The charges under the tariff group A are based on:

Subscribed Demand 2 (in units of kVA)

Maximum electric load available through the connection of supply as stated in the supply contract, and controlled by the meter size and protection devices.

Consumption3 (in units of kWh)

- Total units of electricity consumed during the billing period.

Tariff Clause Adjustment4

- Adjustment in tariff to reflect fluctuation in energy production cost, tath is fixed quarterly.

Government Tax5

- Monthly tax payable for the usage of electrical installation.

A1 General Tariff

Conditions
  • Customers of tariff group A that do not fulfil the criteria of tariff classes A2, A3 and A4.

A2 Low Consumption Tariff

Conditions
  • Automatically applied to customers with a subscribed demand up to 6.9 kVA and and monthly consumption over the last six months that does not exceed 120 units (kWh).

A3 Social Welfare Tariff

Conditions

  • Applicable to non-profitable public and private institutions that
    develop and organize relevant social activities;
  • Customers should present a specific document issued by the Social Welfare Institute (IAS), confirming the above requirements.

A4 Social Tariff

Conditions
  • Customers entitled to public assistance, with a subscribed
    demand up to 6.9 kVA and monthly consumption over the
    last six months that does not exceed 120 units (kWh);
  • Customers should present a valid social assistance card issued by the Social Welfare Institute (IAS);
  • The tariff is automatically applied if the above consumption and registration requirements are met.
