Complain: A Mr. Ng reflected that he had called the Customer Service Center of CEM to inquire if the payment of his tariff had been settled by the bank. An employee replied that the bank would settle the payment few days later. But that morning, the power supply of his flat was disconnected by CEM. He was asking for the reason.
Response:

It was because Mr. Ng did not mention that he had cancelled AutoPay with the bank while he was inquiring on the phone. It was explained to the customer afterwards. Customer Service Department reconnected the power supply for Mr. Ng immediately and informed him the amount of the tariff he should pay.

Complain: An employee of a building management, Mr. Chan complained that CEM installed cables at the entrance of the building without gaining the approval of the flat owners. It affected both the outlook of the building and the safety of the residents.
Response:

It was a temporary construction for improving the power supply facilities in that area and would only last for 1 week. In order to satisfy the customer's request that not affecting the outlook of the building and the safety of the residents, our Engineering Department sent employees there to tidily install the cables at once. And the cables were removed 1 week after.

Complain: A Mr. Leong reflected that the street lights in Rua do Volong were not enough. Residents were afraid that it would affect the security. He urged CEM to improve it.
Response:

It was reflected to the Engineering Department and suggested changing the present used 100W incandescent bulbs into 150W fog lights. CEM contacted the Mr. Leong afterwards, he expressed that he was satisfied with the solution and praised CEM¡¥s efficiency.

Complain: A Ms. Tang complained that CEM had installed several cables in the Café of their hotel and it might cause danger for the customers. She urged CEM to remove them as soon as possible.
Response:

Engineering Department of CEM expressed that, in order to improve the power supply facilities in that area, CEM would launch a construction on 24th May. The cables in the hotel would  not be permanently installed. They would be removed right after the construction on the 24th.
CEM informed the situation to the Ms. Tang. She understood the situation but still hoped CEM to concern the security facilities. The cables have been removed after the construction.

Complain: Reflected that the PT510 in Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga released the heat reaching 50°C and seriously affected his sleep. In recent years, he had complained it to CEM by letters and calls many times, CEM had sent there employees to look after the case, but there was still no improvements. He urged CEM to deal with it seriously.
Response:

It was reported to Engineering Department of CEM. After investigating, CEM technicians considered that the temperature of the PT met the standard. However, since Mr. Ip's bedroom was right above the PT, he considered that the heat seriously affected his daily life. After analyzing, DDI decided to install heat insulation boards in the PT. The construction will be launched in the middle of July. Engineering Department of CEM informed Mr. Ip about the decision. He expressed that he felt satisfied and hoped that the temperature will be thoroughly decreased after the improvement.

Complain: Mr. Choi complained that the cables changing construction against the final bus stop in Conselheiro Borja, in front of the Fok Tak Building had been completed for several days. But the facilities for the construction had not been removed yet. It affected the safety of the passers-by. He hoped CEM could remove it as soon as possible.
Response:

Informed our Engineering Department, and the facilities were removed in the following day. Mr. Choi was satisfied with it.
