not only for the development of the local sport associations and
sportsmen, but, also for their role to promote and reinforce Macau’s

Macau Cultural Institute
Since its establishment the Macau Cultural Institute (ICM) has been
playing an essential role on the educational and entertainment field,
providing to the Macau community a huge range of cultures and festivities’
tastes. We at CEM also want to share these magnificent experiences
by sponsoring some of the ICM events, mainly the International Music
& Arts Festival, Concerts, Exhibitions, Competitions, and others.
In 2004 we have mainly sponsored the 18th Macau Music Festival and
the production of the Cultural Heritages Brochure.

Community Gathering”
The “Macau’s Portuguese Speaking Community Gathering”
is an annual event, chaired by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau,
which brings together by means of culture’s exchange all the
Portuguese speaking community living in Macau.
As an integrant part of the society we share
our responsiveness with those who dedicate some of their time assisting
others, encouraging them in their projects and promoting their activities.
