Macau Sports Development Board
It is our quest to support and encourage the organisation of major international tournaments undertaken by the Macau Sports Development Board. They attract great media interest and coverage, and are most important not only for the development of the local sport associations and sportsmen but also for their role in promoting and reinforcing Macau’s regional and international image. André Couto Racing

• Motor Sports Racing Driver
  André Couto is the only professional motor sports racing driver from Macau and China competing at world level in motor sport events. His career in single seaters started in 1995 and he has been supported by CEM ever since that time.
  He’s a winner of Macau Grand Prix in 2001.

Rodolfo Freitas S. A. Ávila Racing

• Motor Sports Racing Driver
  When only 15 years old he achieved the 1st place in the Intercontinental A - Group B category at the Macau Karting Championship, and was invited to participate in the 49th staging of the Macau Grand Prix; the youngest racer ever in this competition. In 2003 he is competing in the “2003 Asian Formula Renault Challenge”, with races in China, South Korea, Malaysia and Macau. Our support to Rodolfo will definitely contribute towards a significant encouragement to the young racer’s expectations and the development of this kind of sport in Macau. Macau Cultural Institute
Since its establishment the Cultural Institute of the Macau SAR government ICM has been playing an essential role on the educational and entertainment field, providing to the Macau community a wide range of cultural and festive delights. We at CEM also want to share these magnificent experiences by sponsoring some of the ICM events, mainly the International Music & Arts Festival, Concerts, Exhibitions, Competitions, and others.

During the past few years “Alliance Française” together with the Macau Cultural Institute has promoted several French performances, with immense success and popularity among the Macau community, highlights of which are the following events:

Civil & Municipal Affairs Bureau
The "Macau’s Portuguese Speaking Community Gathering" is an annual event, chaired by the Civil & Municipal Affairs Bureau, which brings together through cultural exchange all the Portuguese speaking community living in Macau.

As an integral part of the society we share our responsiveness with those who dedicate some of their time assisting others, encouraging them in their projects and promoting their activities. From amongst them we highlight the following associations / projects:
