Two main groups of shareholders hold, together, 84% of the company’s shares: the Sino-French group (with 42%) consisting mainly of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and NWS Holdings Limited and the Sino-Portuguese group (with 42%) in which the biggest shareholder is EDP Ásia – Investimento e Consultadoria, Limitada. China Power International Holding Ltd hold 6%. The Macau S.A.R Government holds 8% and the remaining 2% is distributed among eight hundred local shareholders.
