CEM donated Vans to Three Charitable Organizations

As part of CEM’s corporate objective to offer special care for the Macau community, CEM donated three second-hand vans to three charitable organizations, including Associacao Reabilitacao Toxicodependentes de Macau, Christian New Life Fellowship, and Sociedade Protectora dos Animais de Macau.

On the day of donation, representatives from the three organizations attended the donation ceremony held at CEM Building, including Associacao Reabilitacao Toxicodependentes de Macau Sub-director Jos? Teixeira, Christian New Life Fellowship Director Ung Ho Vai, and Sociedade Protectora dos Animais de Macau Vice-President of Board of Director Jose Maneiras. Representing CEM to donate the three second-hand vans were Executive Director Alvaro Souza, Procurement and Logistics Department Senior Manager Ant?nio Chantre, and Communication Office Manager Iun Iok Meng. The vans will be used by the three charitable organizations for daily operation. The organization representatives thanked CEM for its continuous support on social welfare and its generous donation made to the organizations.

As a good corporate citizen, CEM has always cared a lot about the needy people in our community. At many festival days during the year, CEM organized their employees to visit senior citizen homes and orphanages as well as collected employee donations to help these people. Besides donating money to various major charitable organizations in Macau, CEM had also donated used vehicles as well as ran programs to collect clothing and toys donation from its employees.
