CEM and the Industry and Commerce Association of Macao Northern District hold a seminar titled “Improving Knowledge of Electricity Use and Customer Services” at IACM’s Tamagnini Barbosa Activity Centre on 4 August 2010 from 16:00 to 18:00, with more than 100 members of the association and business operators of Macao Northern District in attendance. The seminar aims to improve users’ knowledge regarding the safety of electricity facility of the buildings, public electricity facility maintenance and users’ application for power supply service.
CEM Customer Services Department Engineer Dave Leung and Chris Chong introduced the general requirements about power supply and maintenance and management of public electrical installations. CEM Customer Services Department Assistant Manager Dragon Ho briefed about the safety management on power supply facilities. CEM Customer Services Department Officer Carly Vong introduced the power supply applications and all issues of customer services including customer services, tariffs, and ways to communicate with CEM. At the seminar, CEM representatives answered questions and collected opinions from members.
The Industry and Commerce Association of Macao Northern District President Wong Kin Chong expressed his gratitude towards CEM for offering such a good opportunity for the association members to better understand CEM’s services. CEM Communication and Public Affairs Office Manager Iun Iok Meng pointed out that by staging such seminars, they aimed to impress the association members with better ways for effective power consumption and electricity saving. The most important is that it helps strengthen the communication between CEM and the public.
In order to achieve the purpose of promoting power saving, all the attendees of the seminar were gifted with a compact fluorescent bulb and a customer guide produced by CEM. CEM pledges to do their best to improve operation efficiency and service quality in order to offer quality services to the public.
